The FDCPA states that the debt collector has to PROVE the alleged debt and send the consumer validation. The collection agencies cannot prove (in most cases) that they own the alleged debt, therefore, the consumer DOES NOT PAY the debt collection agency.

The word elimination is thrown around alot when it comes to current debt and current credit card balances. It usually means that over time on a payment schedule the debt can be eliminated. This is true in most cases. Debt elimination is a broad term and can be understood that it requires a payment plan to pay off the debt. We do not advocate debt consolidation at all.
