Almost every day, we talk to a consumer who is intimidated by the debt collection letters and phone calls. The knowledge of fighting the debt collectors is in front of us but why isn’t it shared freely? Is there a conspiracy to keep consumers in the dark when it comes to collection debt elimination? YES!

The finance experts tell you to consolidate your collection debt and pay it off. The debt collector will tell you that they were “assigned” to collect. Ask them for proof. The debt collector will tell you they have the rights from the credit card company of the original creditor. Ask them for proof.

The finance experts will not tell you that you have rights as a consumer to challenge the collection debt. The consumer advocates tell you to negotiate with the collection agencies. The label “consumer advocate” can be misleading. Do they really have the consumers best interest or are they being pc because of who they are and the toes they may step on?

How did this country arrive at this time where there are at least 6,000 collection debt companies?

Stay tuned for the history of debt and how the credit card industry got greedy before you could even say “past due”. We are set up to fail when we have a credit card even if we have a 700 score.

Our mission here is to help you get to that 700+ score.
